# How to read

A step-by-step reading

1. Read the title and author names, get familiar with the book font and design.
2. Read preface know the author's intention
3. Read the table of contents - main headings in the first pass, further heading in the second pass
4. Do not read word by word. Read with flow and sufficient speed to understand the text. And trust that you would retain the important information and the whole narrative
5. Read the chapters one by one. Take break after each chapter and mentally summarize the content
6. Connect the each chapter with the previous ones, mentally note the linkages and summary
7. Once you complete the book note down ten points about the book, these can be simply few striking lines from different chapters of the book. They can be as is or in your own words.
